Fare(not)well carrot burgers and celery omelettes
After three years at one of the toughest (if not the toughest) schools in Sweden, they’re finally released from Kungsholmen’s gymnasium. KZINE sneaked in at the annual “gubblunch”, and swopped some last-minute words with the soon-to-be graduates.
1. What are you going to do after Kungsholmen?
2. What’s been most fun at Kungsholmen/what are you going to miss?
3. What will you not miss?
4. What would you like to ask the next term’s first years?
5. Any last words to everyone at Kungsholmen?

1. I’m going to start by taking a gap year.
2. I’m going to miss my classmates, and all new experiences.
3. The stress.
4. “What do you expect from Kungsholmen?”
5. Make friends, have fun, don’t stress.

1. Enjoy life.
2. All the nice people! There’s always someone you can hang out with during the free time between lessons. And there are always new places to discover!
3. Carrot burgers and celery omelettes.
4. ”How will you be as a third year?”
5. Become friends with all staff on school. The librarians, the lunch ladies, the janitors etc.

1. First, I’m going to go on an interrail trip, and then I’m going to work at ICA. And in the fall I might take a one-term course in commercial/PR at Stockholm’s University.
2. Most fun has been all the dopey people. And what I’m going to miss is to be an irresponsible child who doesn’t have to care about anything or show up for school.
3. Badly organized school with boring teachers, and to rarely feel that you’re the best.
4. ”What’s your favourite song?” (Considering that I really have to ask one. Like, if it would be a matter of death.)
5. It’s been really nice to be with you, but it’s going to be damn nice to not be with you. Maybe I’ve been a little too honest now…

1. Work and travel. I’m going to Australia, and I’m going to take driver’s license and diving license.
2. The endless discussions. Oh, and the lunch breaks.
3. The stairs.
4. “How do you think you’re going to pull this off?”
5. That’s what she said.
