Kungsholmaren: A Stockholm Schoolboy

How did you end up at Kungsholmen’s Gymnasium?
I just wanted to go to an English school and this was the only one that wasn’t shit/had drug problems. IB’s an exception of course…

What’s your favorite hang-out in school?
Is 7-Eleven a part of this school? I don’t think I have a favorite hang-out in the school.

If you got to change one thing about the school, what would it be?
I would move the entire school to Ingarö, so I wouldn’t have to spend hours going back and forth to school. Either that, or to make the lunch ladies actually do the dishes.

What’s one of your best memories at school (so far)?
Teachers’ play on Shakespeare Day was pretty fun, I guess. Their attempt of acting was fun! And Mr. Clarke as Shakespeare was awesome! Otherwise, just being with friends. Oh, right! When one of the guys in the class chased people around in the changing room, naked! No names.

And one of your worst?
God, which one of them… Definitely the days before Shakespeare Day/Drama Day. Anyone who has experienced any of them surely understands.

Who’s your favorite teacher?
Mr. Bäckström or Mr. Clarke. Mr. Bäckström with his boyish charm and Mr. Clarke with his Terminator impression (Jonas waves his arms in the air and lets out a sound that goes “uaagh-uargh-uaargh”). That’ll look weird in text but…

What would you do if you won 10 million kronor on the lottery?
PUT IT IN THE BANK AND GET A REALLY GOOD INTEREST RATE! Haha, no but really, I’d pay Beyonce to have her teach me the “Single Ladies” dance. And no Cici, you can’t dress me in a spandex suit.

“Fun”, “social” and “what…?”

I used to play in a rugby team called “The Stockholm Schoolboys”.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Either as a really non-boring teacher, or as a martyr of something.

What gives you a kick?
Doing random shit with my friends, and Tabby… Aaah, Tabby. YouTube “I’ve got a ferret!” -finer teeth are hard to find.

Which Astrid Lindgren character would you say you were most like?
Hands down Emil i Lönneberga. We have much in common. I basically live in a snickerboda.

The best lie?
“You look really nice today!” I hope my friends don’t read this article…

Which artist would you want to sing a duet with?
The guy in Journey. My lifelong dream is to sing “Don’t Stop Believin’” with the singer of Journey.

What would you bring to a deserted island?
All of my friends, they could starve with me. Looord of the Fliiies!

The question from the last Kungsholmare: Coffee or tea?
Tea, because it’s much easier to fuck up coffee than tea. Good coffee is better than good tea though.

What would you like to ask the next Kungsholmare?
If you could have a pet moose, what would you name it?
